This presentation is designed for clinical professionals, including psychologists, therapists, counselors, and social workers, as well as recovery coaches, family members, and anyone personally or professionally impacted by recovery.  

OBJECTIVES:
After this workshop, you will be able to:

1. Evaluate the Evidence Base and summarize findings from recent randomized and quasi- experimental studies comparing 12-step participation and TSF with other psychosocial interventions for SUD.

2. Describe Mechanisms of Action and key mediators through which 12-step involvement supports recovery, including changes in social networks, coping skills, and broader elements of recovery capital.

3. Apply Findings to Practice and Policy by translating current evidence into clinical and public health strategies, including systematic linkage to MHOs, integration with treatment systems, and implications for healthcare cost reduction.
